About the Event
International Conference on Teaching, Assessment and Learning for Engineering (TALE) is the IEEE Education Society's flagship Asia-Pacific (Region 10) conference, catering to researchers and practitioners with an interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education--with a particular emphasis on electrical and electronic engineering, telecommunications, computer engineering, computer science and allied disciplines--as well as those interested in the innovative use of digital technologies for learning, teaching and assessment in any discipline. The target audience of the conference is diverse and includes those working in the higher education, Vocational Education and Training (VET), K-12, corporate, government, military, and healthcare sectors.
The TALE series was first established in 2012 to complement the IEEE Education Society's other, very popular Frontiers in Education and EDUCON conferences, which serve North America (IEEE Regions 1-7) and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (IEEE Region 8), respectively. Following highly successful conferences in Hong Kong (2012 and 2017); Bali, Indonesia (2013); Wellington, New Zealand (2014); Zhuhai, China (2015); and Bangkok, Thailand (2016), Wollongong (2018).
The theme of this year’s conference is “Creative & Innovative Education to Enhance the Quality of Life”.
